I am sitting by the creek in this beautiful redwood forest where I live in Northern California.

Listening to the birds and watching the sun come up.

I just got out of my hammock this morning.

I'm about to go cook some acorns and then get to work inoculating mushroom logs.

I'm sitting next to a fjord in Norway right now.

I'm on a road trip with my three best friends through Norway and we just made a campfire, cooked some food,

and we're about to eat it in a second.

I just want to say hi to everybody and yeah I wanted to express my gratitude first of all for this podcast and second of all for all of the people listening to it and resonating with it.

It really gives me a lot of hope and yeah I think it's a beautiful thing.

Hey Chris, I'm sitting on the shores of Georgian Bay which is just about in the middle of the province of Ontario, Canada,

where I come every summer to fill the well and swim and kind of pretty cold water and generally get away from my regular job being a university professor in Montreal.

I'm that even older than you listener who thinks that you and your whole podcast community are pretty wonderful.

And I'd say to people you know travel every chance you get because I did when I was younger and I hope I do when I retire in five years again and I think it's really really good to keep moving.
