Episode 3554: A meaningful life isn’t free of struggle, it’s shaped by it. Jeff Goins explores the essential truth that good stories, like good lives, require conflict, sacrifice, and purpose beyond ourselves. Instead of chasing comfort, embracing hardship can lead to the kind of fulfillment that truly lasts. Read along with the original article(s) here: https://goinswriter.com/living-good-story/ Quotes to ponder: "It's only a passing thing, this shadow. Even darkness must pass. A new day will come." "Good stories involve conflict, which is just a nice word for pain. People don't become heroes without sacrifice." "A life that is focused solely on self and one's own happiness ultimately ends up being shallow and unsatisfying." Learn more about your ad choices. Visit megaphone.fm/adchoices
