apology or even be outside your window trying to serenade you? Let's be real. That's not happening.

But even if it did, it wouldn't change a damn thing because here's the cold hard truth.

If someone is the type to gaslight you, dodge accountability, and twist reality to suit their ego,

well, they're never going to give you the closure that you think you need.

Apologizing would mean admitting that they were wrong. Admitting that they were wrong?

Oh God, that would mean that you were right. And they simply cannot have that. No, no, no, it's not in their DNA.

You can't have that leverage over them. Instead, they'd rather rewrite history, play the victim, and tell anyone who

will listen that the relationship just didn't work out. We just grew apart. Or maybe they'll say

you're crazy. You know how that goes. You know, just kind of conveniently leaving out the part where they were the reason it didn't work out?

Because in their mind, maintaining their image is more important than taking responsibility.

But here's the question you need to ask yourself.

If someone would rather let you spiral in confusion and hurt, then say two simple words,

I'm sorry?
