Hi everybody it's Joe Lample the Joe behind Joe Gardner and welcome to the Joe Gardner show

Today's episode is one I really enjoyed putting together for you. It's also unique in the format used for this one

First, it's a solo episode with just me. That's not so unique, but this is only

the third time out of a total catalog of episodes, currently 379, where the recording takes place entirely from my garden. The two other times I did

this we got a lot of great feedback and listeners really liked the change from inside

to outside and they especially liked that although they couldn't see what I was doing and

talking about, they almost felt like they were there.

So today's format is similar and I hope you get the same feeling this time. In today's episode we walk around the garden to assess the current state of the vegetable plants and flowers, talk about some of the challenges that are hard to manage and discuss things that have gone very well too.

I'll also take you up the hill to my small nursery area next to my greenhouse

and I'll update you on my fall seed sewing and everything else I'm growing to plant out in my cool season

garden. Plus I have some other garden related activities that I've been working on this

month that I'm really excited about and we'll touch on that too. So let's get started and head out to the
