Hello and welcome to another episode of No Such Thing as a Fish, a weekly podcast coming

to you from four undisclosed locations in the UK. My name is Dan Schreiber, I am sitting

here with Andrew Hunter Murray, Anna Toshinsky and James Harkin, and once again we have gathered

around the microphones with our four favourite facts from the last seven days, and in a particular

order here we go. Starting with fact number one, and that is Andy.

My factor is that the Victorian poet Elizabeth Barrett Browning had her spaniel stolen by London's

dog banditty on three separate occasions. Does sound like at least two euphemisms in

that sentence. I reckon having your spaniel stolen and London's dog banditty. It's all

true. There might be some euphemisms later actually, but no, that she had a lovely little

spaniel and it was called flush flush the dog and she don't flush the dog.
