with you. You too. So I just want to start, obviously, you're a doctor, but why cancer? How'd you get

into this cancer thing?

Well, I grew up in Houston, Texas, and I'm number three of six children, and I was born in the 50s,

and my mother started bleeding, and so she went to there, her doctor said oh well you know I can give you

this medication that will prevent miscarriage and stop the bleeding and that drug was called

D-E-S diastylabestrial it's a very pregnant with you is this happened? Okay. Yes. And so she took that medication, diethyl-stobestrel, which is very potent form of estrogen.

And so fast forward 16 years later, my parents received a letter that that medication D.E.S.

Caused hormone problems, infertility, anatomical problem, and cancer in both male and female offspring.

So I started going to MD Anderson Hospital, which is one of the leading cancer hospitals in the United States, and started getting poked and prodded and biopsied and all kinds of things.

Never had two periods in a row in my life.

All my children are what I call technological babies because I didn't ovulate, so I had to take
