Well, it's another geek alert for this podcast. We're talking about roots, understanding roots,

demystifying roots, of all things. This is a conversation that I've wanted to have for a long time.

I knew who I wanted to converse with about this, and that is Robert Corrick.

Robert is a guy that's been in the

industry forever. And thankfully, he had a fascination with Roots a long time ago, going back

into the late 70s, when he realized that there were some questions that weren't being answered

about Roots. And so he took it upon himself to do the research. boy did he ever and since then he's acquired a lot

of knowledge and written a couple books on it and i have to say i have both his books roots demystified

and understanding roots and they're not sexy books because they're not a lot of there's no color

pictures in here but you don't need it because

just the drawings themselves are fascinating when you see the different formations and how

different trees and shrubs do what they do to make their root systems work the best for them.

But we're going to talk about a lot of that stuff today.
