The Hello and welcome to mini episode 396 of real life ghost stories and I have four spooky stories for you today

and the last story comes from October the 3rd, 2024. And the first story today comes from Ian. And I found this story,

I think it's about four years old at this stage. So it was sent in a letter, like a handwritten

letter. And I came across it in a kind of bunch of other letters and stuff that I had received. So just to say, Ian, I'm really sorry if

you're still listening and you are thinking, she never read my story. It did come to me. I just

had completely missed it and thank you for taking the time to send a handwritten letter. It was a

great novelty and a great joy to find it and to read it.

I'm 53 years of age and I live on the River Thames. I'm a historian into family trees. I've found that

we have an ancestor in the American Civil War as a Confederate and more. I'm very psychic and have made

contact with spirits going back to the Craford Ammunition Explosion of February 18th, 1924,

at Eryth Marshes at Gilbert and Sons Munitions. 21 girls aged between 17 and 40 were at the factory. 11 girls perished in the

flames and were buried at Ereth Cemetery. I visited the graveyard. There is a big monument there.

One girl called Ethel Pullen died aged 18, one week before her marriage.

I saw her grave back in 2014.

I stood there and said a prayer.

I walked away thinking nothing of it, but I didn't realise she was following me.

I heard footsteps behind me, and no one was there. I walked to the farm

foods at Ereth. There were leaves outside the store. I said, Ethel, are you there? And then I heard

footsteps on the leaves approaching me. I believe Ethel followed me to my flat. Things began to happen. I saw flashing lights around me. I heard her voice calling me. Ian! But no one was there. Then when I was laid in bed one night, I felt a gush of an angel's wings come across my face.

I was in shock.

Every morning I felt her presence.
