Hi, everybody. This is Joe Lampel, the Joe behind Joe Gardner, and welcome to the Joe Gardner show.

0:05.8

It's become a tradition around here with this gardening podcast and others, I'd say, to dedicate an episode to a look back over the year to discuss those aha moments and the good, the bad, and the ugly.

And it doesn't hurt to include discussing some things that we will do

0:22.2

differently in the coming year. Well, we did that on this podcast last week, actually, with my

0:28.1

marketing director, Amy Prentice, and we had that conversation about our gardens. And thanks,

0:33.2

by the way, for all the great comments on that one, you all really liked it, and we loved hearing

So these days, she's busy as the gardening columnist for the New York Times, and of course,

1:29.9

her weekly podcast, Away to Garden, and her website by the same name. And we are so lucky that

1:37.0

she's not totally retired and she continues to offer her wisdom up through her podcast and website

1:42.4

too. So Margaret and I have regular check-in calls

1:45.8

throughout the year, but I am always curious to talk with her about her year in review and include

1:51.1

all of you in on that conversation. So that's the plan for today, and we are all in for a treat.

1:56.9

And as we get started, thanks to Malorganite, our sponsor for today's episode.
