The New York Yankees are currently playing a baseball game. We have a split signal. We thank the New York

Yankees for that. They're on the AM side. The Yankees lead the Cleveland Guardians by a score of

four to one. This is one of those games. I always kind of point this out. There are certain games that feel like they matter

just a little bit more than your typical April game. Usually if you're on a losing streak or

you're about to get swept or something of that nature. Well, that's where the Yankees are. They've lost

back-to-back games to Cleveland. Their offenses looked limp. They actually came out, scored some

runs early in this game. But I think you would look at this game on April 23rd and say,

look, it's not the end of the world that they lose,

but slightly more important than maybe your typical April game.

And Carlos Rodon has delivered.

Six innings, one unearned run, because Cody Bellinger was confused in center field.

So so far, a really strong lockdown performance by Carlos Rodan.
