I have never seen so many people vote based on emotion or social media.

You've got to know what your candidate stands for.

You've got to look at their platform and their policies, not how they banter, not what

they look like, not who they hang out with, not who they bring to their platform, but what will they actually do for the

presidency or whatever the Senate or the Congress, whatever you're voting for. Well, welcome to conversations with John and Lisa Baveer and John.

We are going to be talking about something that sometimes gets contentious and

gets controversial but we do not want it to be that way. We want to give you some clear messaging. We want to

challenge you and we're talking about the 20-24 upcoming election election election.

Election time.

So stay with us, don't turn this off because we as like a mom and dad in the faith, I'm

65, Lisa 64 and we've been in ministry over 40 years we really believe that we've got

nuggets of truth that will be able to help you navigate this season and not come out of

the season bitter angry mad at people but come out of it in a situation where you can have influence and see a change and also be at peace.

Yeah, because the truth is the enemy always wants us divided and divisive.

You know, it was crazy, John, when I remember at the end of 2020,

when the election was over, I posted a quote by Abraham Lincoln and I said hey we're

not enemies we're friends and I said in the quote if you voted one way it

doesn't make you this if you voted the other way it doesn't make you that and I did some

descriptions that were kind of the character jaysization I said it makes you an American. We right now as Americans have the privilege and the

right to vote. So how are we supposed to approach us as Christians?

So we're going to approach this as four, there's four things that you can do in this election

season and you mentioned the fourth one but we were not going to get there until we're there.
