Let's play a little game of would you rather.

If you were getting tortured and killed,

would you rather be flayed alive, your skin,

little strip by little strip,

meticulously sliced off,

starting with your scalp and your face then your neck

shoulders arms and stomach and well you're probably dead by now or you might as well, you've at least had a complete psychotic break from all the pain and are about to die.

Or would you rather be slowly and steadily ripped apart on the rack? Your limbs

wrenched from your body, your tendons growing more and more

tot until they finally can't stretch anymore and they simply snap. Okay next

question. What if you were a prisoner of war, how much torture could you endure before you told

your captors whatever they wanted to know? Would you be able to withstand being slowly

eaten alive by hungry rats? Their tiny sharp claws burrowing into your bowels,

their needlepoint teeth gnawing on your exposed tendons,

their oily fur dragging against the spillage of your blood and bone.

How much could you take of literally spilling your

guts before you figuratively spilled your guts? What if you were locked in a cage,

too short for you to fully stand up in but not not wide enough for you be able to sit down.

How many minutes, hours, days, weeks could you crouch there, before you said whatever you needed to say,

or did whatever you needed to do to be released? Or what if instead of being cramped in a small case... you were being

or what if instead of being cramped in a small cage you were being hung by your

wrists with your arms behind your back in a dark dingy cell or chained down on your
