That takes us to Genesis 3, where we have this grand moral battle that changed everything.

But it's about food.

So again, the background is God's given,

put Adam and Eve in this lavishly pleasurable world,

but he's placed some boundaries around that pleasure, this particular tree that they were prohibited from eating.

And the serpent comes and sort of tempts Eve.

My view was that Adam was there somewhere in the background.

Yes, he was with her.

She turns to him.

And basically says God's light to you.

And if you eat that tree, you'll be like God.

There's a little spot in this account that I can remember the very first time I saw this.

I thought how many times I've read this, I haven't seen this.

It says that Eve saw the tree was good for food and a delight to the eyes and the tree was desired to make one wise.

I'm thinking, what? Where did that come from?

Where'd that come from? Now, let's go back to the scenes. This is Adam and Eve living in a perfect world, living in perfect a relationship with God. Who happens to be wisdom? He is wisdom. wisdom yeah the source of all wisdom comes from god

he is the creator and the source of wisdom so why would she be desiring to be wise
