0:35.9	Dr Goodman is an assistant professor in psychiatry and behavioral sciences
0:41.0	at the Johns Hopkins School of Medicine. He is also a clinical associate
0:46.2	professor at the upstate Medical University in New York. He's also involved in
0:51.9	the effort to develop the first U.S. clinical practice guidelines to diagnose and treat ADHD in adults.
0:59.0	Right now, U.S. clinical guidelines for ADHD only address symptoms and treatment for children.
1:05.2	They do not inform clinicians on how to evaluate, diagnose, and treat adults of any age,
1:11.3	let alone older adults.
1:13.0	And that's a big problem.
1:15.0	When older adults inform their providers about memory problems,
1:19.0	mood changes, and other cognitive concerns,
1:22.0	they are rarely evaluated for ADHD.
1:25.0	In today's webinar, we'll discuss the importance and the challenges of diagnosing and treating ADHD in older adults.
