Summary

Are your fitness goals starting to feel like a mountain that’s too steep to climb? Believe me, we’ve all been there—many of us set ambitious goals only to feel our motivation slipping as the journey unfolds. The secret to lasting progress isn’t just about the big wins; it’s about celebrating each small victory along the way.

I also share how these smaller milestones can make all the difference in sustaining your motivation and transforming your outlook on fitness. By shifting focus to these achievable steps, we make our progress feel more real and attainable. Here’s the thing: Every small win, from completing a workout on a tough day to reaching a new personal best, fuels a sense of accomplishment that builds unstoppable momentum.

I also discuss:

(00:00) The Power of Small Wins

(09:24) Embracing Small Wins for Motivation

(10:08) Embracing Authentic Beauty

and more!

We have all been there setting these big fitness goals, feeling pumped to achieve

0:38.9

them, whether it's losing a certain number of pounds or getting this strength back to where

0:43.1

you previously were or fitting into a certain clothes that maybe you've been wanting to fit into,

0:47.6

whatever it is, right? We all have that big goal in mind and we're super pumped to achieve it

0:53.8

and we're very motivated at first but

0:55.8

the motivation quickly wears off like those goals start to feel very distant especially as we

1:00.6

head into the colder busier months of the holidays and progress doesn't come as quickly as you hoped for

1:07.5

and that's where things can get really frustrating. But the truth is, focusing

1:11.1

only on those big goals, that's going to lead you to setting unrealistic goals and really trying

1:16.5

to reach unattainable goals will eventually lead us to burn out. So what if we actually shifted

1:21.6

our focus? What if instead of obsessing about the end result, we started to really obsess about

1:26.6

the small wins along the way.

1:27.9

You know, those little moments of progress that might seem insignificant at first, but they actually

matter much more than you realize. That's why in today's episode, I'm going to be sharing with you

1:37.4

five reasons why you need to stop focusing on big goals and instead start celebrating small wins

1:44.0

and how to do so to help keep you

1:46.6

motivated, enjoy the progress, and process, and ultimately lead you to even greater success.

Before we dive in, though, I want to share this review.
