Hello, everyone. Welcome back to the prologs podcast. My name is Mary, and I'm having a day. So this is actually my third time recording this episode. First recording didn't go well. Second recording, I was trying too hard to make it exactly like the first recording and it also didn't go well. So here we are at my third attempt to record an episode I've

been so excited about for so long and that is the hibernation episode, the start of my hibernation

podcast series. I love winter. I love fall and winter and cold weather. I hate summer and I love

hibernating. And even though I didn't invent the phrase hibernation era and I certainly didn't invent like talking about hibernation in a human sense and not as just something like brown bears do in the wintertime, I didn't invent that. But I definitely helped popularize it last year because I made this TikTok video about how to embrace your hibernation era. And it went

viral. And then ever since then it's been a pretty big part of my online presence and my social

media platforms because I'm a winter girl. And I have been able to connect with a lot of you who are

also winter girls through talking about hibernation. However, I also learned through posting that

TikTok that a lot of people hate winter more than I ever could have possibly imagined. And I feel inspired by both groups to make this episode today. I'm not going

to promise you that doing the tips I share in this episode or embracing the mindset I talk about

here is going to make you a winter lover if you currently hate it. But I really think that getting into

a hibernation mindset can help make your winter experience more pleasant. And that's what I'm going

to be talking about today. And I'm very excited. Back when I started this podcast in May,

I was already thinking about just being excited to talk about hibernation this fall and winter.

It's my favorite topic in the world. And I hope that you guys enjoy what we're going to get into today. Next thing I want to share is
