podcast I am your host Sally McCray and today I have with me my very good friend and

talented filmmaker Drew Darby Drew how are you doing today?

I'm fantastic it's great to be here in the new studio out here in California sunny beautiful California.

Yeah you came from Austin which I know is not your home

But I just was in Austin filming with you, which we're going to dive into a little bit because you have been filming me for two years straight and it's really funny because

A lot of projects kind of overlap even if you weren't called to work on that project we end up

working together in some capacity so for our listeners if you are not familiar with

who Drew Darby is yet if you go on to my YouTube channel, he is the one who has made all of those

documentaries on there along with with Tyler McCain. Tyler and Drew have been known for the last two years

when we did the Choo Strong project in 2022

and then last year during the grand slam of 200s,

Drew and Tyler with me every step of the way. So I'm super stoked to have

drew out. We flew drought here to Huntington Beach because we wanted to get some

really good content.

We have a big project that we're working on that

no you may not know about yet, but won't be released until late,

much, much later in the year. And so there's a lot of groundwork that goes into that which is one of the

reasons why I wanted you on the podcast today was just to kind of talk about what it's like

being a filmmaker we can also banter a little bit about what it's like being a filmmaker. We can also banter a little bit about what it's like

filming me personally because you do film a lot of other people too. But before I do that,

as I always do with the Choose Strong episode, I like to acknowledge everyone that is training right now.
