0:47.8	weeks into the 47th president's reign. And I think, first of all, I should just pause at that. It's only been a
0:56.3	couple of weeks. It has not been a full month. This past few weeks has felt like six months.
1:03.4	And I know I'm not alone in feeling that way. This has been a very intense process, and it's
1:09.9	just getting going. And you're overwhelmed and my
1:13.6	demoralization and are feeling helpless and hopeless that is by design it's so important now and
1:24.0	moving forward that you find ways of grounding your energy, centering yourself,
1:32.9	pacing yourself through all the scary, threatening, and bad news, and that you do this
1:38.9	while also choosing joy and levity and humor and play. I'm not encouraging you to dig your head in the sand,
1:48.1	but I'm also not encouraging you to allow their strategy of terror to work. If you're too overwhelmed
1:59.8	and scared to pay attention to the world, to navigate your
2:05.3	life, to advocate for yourself for others, they win. They win. And the thing that I see happening
2:12.7	that's just so fucking corrosive after only a couple of weeks, a couple of weeks, is the incredible
2:20.2	strain on people having to go to work day after day, live as though everything were normal
2:28.4	when things aren't normal, when a lot of us are just really freaked out about our safety and the safety of the people around
