FBI profile or former New York City prosecutor and writer producer of

criminal minds. And unfortunately, Lisa and Laura could not be with us today,

but we have a very special guest, my friend and colleague.

Kathy Canning Mello, retired FBI agent,

and spent 10 years of my career in the behavioral analysis unit with my dear

friend Jim Clemente. How you doing Kathy? We also have another very special guest.

Christina Foltz, I'm one of the daughters of Gloria Lofton.

Hello, Christina, and I'm very sorry for your loss.

I understand that your mother, Gloria Lofton, was killed and we start off our inquiries and analysis with victimology.

That is the study of the victim. We want to know everything we can about your mother, Gloria Lofton. Can you please tell us who she was and your relationship with her?

Yeah, absolutely. So I was adopted. I was given up for

adoption. She had me in 89 and I ended up reconnecting with her in 2012 and I

had a younger half-sister, we're very, very close.

And so in a way, I refounder rekindled this stuff and then unfortunately she was murdered in 2019.

Wow, I'm sure that was extremely traumatic for you and your sister.

Yeah, unfortunately, but here to raise awareness and talk about it because hopefully something can be helped out this whole case and we can start figure out something that we I guess Mr you know it's it's coming along over the past year so so yeah.

where did she live?

So she was born and raised in Austin, Texas.

She was born in Lockhart, which is maybe 10, 15 minutes
