Well, I think it goes without saying that

transgenderism and gender dysphoria are no longer

hot new topics.

Male of female and men and women are now contested terms and parents unfortunately are encouraged

by teachers, doctors, and counselors just to accept the use of puberty blockers and gender-affirming treatments for children

and teens who might be struggling with gender dysphoria.

You know, when the stakes are as high as they are with something like this. It's really important for all of us to understand

what's happening and to know exactly what has been informing the advice we receive from the

medical and counseling community. Well that's where we're headed in my conversation

with Dr. Miriam Grossman today. Dr Grossman is a child psychiatrist who has

testified before Congress about why the push to affirm and accept transitions

is so problematic for children and why it's likely to have devastating effects. Dr Grossman has also written a book called Lost in Trans Nation,

which is an eye-opening and very informative resource

about this issue.

She is fiercely advocate based on her work with children and

adolescents as she advocates for herding children and for parents who are

navigating this difficult topic. She brings light to a lot of the challenges that these

children and families are facing. So this is one of those conversations you're
