Kathy Canning Mello, retired FBI agent, and retired profile.

Jim and I worked together in the behavioral analysis unit for 10 years and I'm very happy to be here today.

This is a very important discussion, Jim.

Yeah, we're continuing our discussion on the Sonia Massey homicide and this was a citizen who called 911 in Illinois and the

Sheriff's Department came out and one of the sheriffs, Sean Grayson, ended up shooting her in the face and killing her after a very short interaction.

We've gone through in the previous two episodes what all of the 911 calls and all the documents

like the autopsy report and also the body cam from

officer Dobson who was with officer Sean Grayson when they responded to

Sonia Massey's home.

And as we discussed before,

Sonia was going through some mental health issues

and she had called the police

and her mother had called the police and her mother had called the police and she had had other

interactions over the previous couple of weeks with an emergency medical unit basically that helps with people who are in

some kind of emotional or mental distress and unfortunately on July 6th at that on that night when so

so on that night when so on you called 911 sheriff's deputies responded and it ended up in Sonia being killed.

It's just a horrific situation.
