1:03.0	Dr. Higgins is a child, adolescent, and adult psychiatrist in Houston, Texas.
1:09.0	He is the executive director of the Black Psychiatrists of America and CEO of
1:14.7	Global Health Psychiatry. Dr. Higgins is an author and co-author of multiple books on ADHD,
1:22.5	Depression and Grief, Mental Health in Black Communities, and Physician Practice Iss issues. He also specializes in nutrition
1:30.8	and health to improve patients' well-being. Research shows that ADHD in childhood can increase the
1:40.2	chances of developing schizophrenia later in life. At first glance, these two conditions
1:46.4	might seem distinct and unrelated, but ADHD and schizophrenia share some similarities
1:53.5	and risk factors, which we will discuss today. Dr. Higgins will also address barriers to care
