When we talk about sexuality, one of the foundational truths that changes us as Christians

is our identity in Christ.

And I found that this is one of the most difficult truths

for us to actually live in as Christians. You know, the Bible says that we are new

creations in Christ Jesus and that sounds nice, but it often does little to change how we see ourselves.

Instead, we think of ourselves by what we do or how people treat us or maybe we see ourselves

through our shame. A key component of sexual

discipleship is really drilling into the idea of who we are in Christ. And that's

important in all discipleship, including and parenting.
