Now, when it comes to snagging great award flights or hotel stays on points it's one

thing if you're a solo traveler with tons of scheduling flexibility and access to a huge

international airport as your local airport.

I think that's kind of the dream scenario when it comes to points travel.

But let's be honest, the reality for a lot of us in this hobby

is that we have very real constraints that we need to take into

consideration that can limit our options when it comes to using points for travel or getting

the best points deals and one of the biggest constraints that I get asked about all the

time is how can you make points travel work when you're traveling with a family, especially

if that family is larger than three or four people. And the truth is as a family of five, six or more people,

you will have fewer options for great points flights

or hotel stays in standard type rooms.
