It says, I've been following David's podcast for a few years now.

And it came as a surprise when he announced the long overdue release of a book collecting

his best short stories.

I had heard Power Armor a Love Story and was curious, so I bought it.

Not really being an avid reader of short stories, and it was a great surprise.

The structure of the book in three parts is a good choice, one fantasy, two sci-fi and

three horror, as it gives you some idea of what kind of stories you'll encounter in each

section.

And they're all really good, at times truly excellent.

For me, the highlights are they go bump, red road, and the superlative veil of ignorance.

The ideas and the science fiction stories are all thought-provoking.

The fantasy worlds are well-realized in just a few pages, but most important of all,

the stories are a lot of fun, even though sometimes the dark humor caught me off guard.

I hope we can get some more books from Geeks Guide Press in the future.
