1:16.4	This is Jim Clementi, retired FBI profiler, former New York City prosecutor and writer-producer of criminal minds. And with me today is, Kathy Canning Mello, a retired FBI profiler and co-host of the Audible podcast, FBI Profilers, Criminal Archives, with my dear friend Jim Clemente.
1:23.8	And we have here with us a very special guest. Hi, my name's Laura Palmer. I'm a veteran
1:29.4	journalist based on Vancouver Island. And I'm currently the host of a podcast called Island Crime.
1:36.8	Well, thank you for being here again. And we're going to jump right back into our discussion
1:40.7	about the mysterious disappearance and abduction of Michael Dunahey just before he turned five years old.
1:49.3	But to your question, Kathy, about any prior attempted abductions, I only learned, I guess it's about two years ago now, and the public had never known this before,
2:05.3	that about a year and a half before Michael is taken, there was an attempt abduction in virtually the exact same spot.
2:16.2	Yeah, so September 1989, a little boy, he's three, is being lured by a man into a brown van.
2:28.3	And a woman named Beverly Morrison just happens to see what's going on and intervenes.
2:36.8	And they get into a bit of an argument and he's kind of saying, hey, mind your own business.
2:42.4	She calls the police.
