Me, and her Star Trek script, The Measure of a Man, has been voted as one of the

ten best Star Trek scripts of all time. Together with George R. Martin, she edits the wildcard series

of Shared World Superhero Anthologies. And in this interview, we'll be discussing her

1987 anthology of Very Large Array, which collects some of the best short stories by the New Mexico Mafia,

a close-knit community of science fiction writers that formed in New Mexico in the 1970s and
