Summary

This week, Bret Ernst takes a seat in The Wayback! (Check out his special "Uncaged" on YouTube, and catch him on Cobra Kai on Netflix). In this episode, Bret takes us back to what is like growing up in both Florida and New Jersey in the 80s and 90s. Raised by a single mom who was always on the move, Bret reminisces about attending 15 schools as a kid (!), breaking leases as family, hanging out in roller rinks, and the terror of gym "lock-ins." Bret also gets nostalgic about some of the crazy jobs he had back in the day, like making fake IDs, selling speakers out of a van, and breaking into payphones for change. But the true highlight is when Ryan and Bret do a deep dive on the 90s as "the golden era of cologne." Do you have a "cologne guy?"
