0:15.6	And today I want to share with you a dialogue that I had with two Protestants on the question,
0:21.1	can Protestants define what the essential beliefs are for Christians?
0:25.6	Or can Protestants apply Soluscriptura and uniformly arrive at what are the essential versus
0:32.9	the non-essential beliefs for Christians?
0:36.0	Because when I spoke with Protestants, they'll say things to me like, we don't need an infallible
0:39.9	magician.
0:41.2	We have Scripture, Byscripture alone, Soluscriptura.
0:45.0	And while Protestants may differ about secondary doctrines, Scripture is clear, Christians
0:52.0	can read it, and so Protestants at least agree on the essential elements of the Christian
0:56.7	faith.
0:57.7	And I don't believe that's the case.
0:58.7	I did a whole video showing where Protestants disagree on really important matters of Christian
1:04.6	doctrine, essential matters of Christian doctrine.
1:07.4	And I would also say that even where they do agree, it's not because of something that
1:11.6	is plain in Scripture, like the 27 book Canon of the New Testament, but it's because of
1:15.9	something like a shared tradition.
1:17.6	So I talked about that in a previous video.
1:19.7	Two Protestants replied to that video, and both of them took me up on my offer to have
1:24.6	a dialogue.
