Hey everybody and welcome back to I just want to talk about the Bible.

If this is your first time joining us, then let me just welcome you and say that I am so genuinely glad that you're here.

My name is Christian Keeter, and I live in the southeast of the United States of America with my amazing, beautiful, godly wife Lacey

and our two wonderful daughters, Felicity and Serenity. So today I'm going to be sharing

with you guys a teaching that I recently did at mentoring Men for the Master, which is the ministry

that I'm with. And I hope that it's encouraging and that you encounter the Lord in some meaningful way in

this time. And also, this content, I'll mention this, you'll hear me mention it in the message.

It is in some ways directly connected to and relevant to the discussion we had in the previous

podcast episode as well. But let's go ahead and get started and I will hop back in at the end.

Dear Jesus, Lord, you are the perfect teacher.

Lord, would you just teach this now?

As we open your word, Lord, let us hear from you, please.

God, it says that when the people heard you teach,

they were astonished at the authority with which you spoke.

And so, Lord, I pray that that's our experience here now, too. I pray that each and every one of us

can walk away today saying that we heard from the Lord. You are the teacher, Lord. And so we just

want to sit at your feet and listen to your teaching. And so we pray that you honor this time now in Jesus' name. Amen.
