Radio Mano, Greetings, Earthlings, I come to you from Christon, Colorado, on the last day of

2004.

2024. I can remember when the year 2000 seemed like a distant illusion, like it would never come.

Well, I remember thinking like, what's my life going to be like in the year 2000?

Wow, I'll be 38 years old.

I'll be married and with kids and have a two-car garage and a station wagon.

Didn't work out that way um and now it's 24 years later what's life like now

strange i feel i i'm reincarnated is what's happened with me. Because, you know, back around the year 2000,

I did not have a two-car garage.

I did not have a station wagon.

I did not live in the suburbs.

I was living in Barcelona.

And I had come to a point in my life where I thought I was like on the glide path.

Like, this is it.

This is, and I don't mean that in any kind of negative way.

I was super happy about my life. I had, I was with the woman I thought I would

grow old and die with. I was, we bought this apartment where, you know, we were like, well,

this is a good place to get old, you know, you can walk to

stores and tapas bars and there's the health clinic right up the road and good cafes all around.

Like, yeah, this is a good place. I was definitely like, you know, kind of coming in for a landing. And,

you know, again, not in any negative sense at all. But I thought this is what's going to be
