Anyway, this is the sort of teaser thing to tell you that I put up a paywall around the podcast.

Reason being, I needed a mechanism to eliminate the trolls in the douchebags and the bots and all those other negative things that are sort of floating around like trash in a Vietnamese river.

I don't want to deal with those people anymore.

So I set up a paywall around the podcast that's being paid for totally by Mexico.

Just kidding.

It's being paid for by people who can afford five bucks a month and think the podcast is worth it.

I very much appreciate those people. And other people who don't have five bucks a month and think the podcast is worth it. I very much appreciate those people

and other people who don't have five bucks a month or 50 bucks a year, which is, I don't know,

four bucks a month to support the podcast are welcome anyway. See, it's that kind of party. It's a

B-Y-O-B, but if you don't bring anything,

you can drink somebody else's beer. It's okay. All you got to do is go to chrisryan.com,

sign up, register for my thing, just skip all the bullshit, say you want the free version, and then let me

know, and I will give you a free pass to get through the paywall. So the idea being, we just

want people in the community who really want to be in the community, at least enough to sign up

on substack and send me a message saying, Chris, let me in.

Because I feel like communities online started out really cool and supportive.

And, you know, you could be talking to all these interesting people from all over the world,

and like so much with technology.
