There's a musician that I work with a lot who leaves little notes in his record.

He records from home.

And so, you know, I'll get, he's a guitarist and bass player and stuff.

And so I'll get these tracks and I'll be importing them into my session and starting to the, you know, mix and apply the, the polish and whatnot needed to get these things to the finish line.

And then I'll see in the

waveform there's like there's like a little rogue sound kind of off somewhere outside of where he

was supposed to be playing so I go and isolate that and invariably it's like hello Austin and the best

part is when I'm working quickly and I don't see it.

And so I'm just doing and I just hear this voice and it's like.

And I think I hallucinate.

And it just becomes this thing until finally I realize Tom.

So I start like hunting.

I'm like, it's in here somewhere.

And there have been a couple times where I almost shipped a mix that had one of those things

in there where, because it was, it was like loud and he whispered. So in context, it was basically

impossible to hear, but you'd catch the sibilant like. And so you can't, you can't hear

that there's a word. You can't hear what it only that it's there i won't i won't say which

game of ours it is but there's a game of ours that definitely shipped with an audio track of me going

And I was like, does you coughing?
