Today's episode is a little unusual because I'm a guest on it rather than being the host.

Back in October, I was part of a panel at the Austin Film Festival

with a group of writers who worked across movies, TV, comics, plays, video games, and VR.

We discussed the similarities and differences between writing for these media

and how you put together a career that moves back and forth between them.

It ended up being a really great discussion, so we asked the Austin Film Festival if we could share it with our listeners, and fortunately they said yes.

So in addition to me, you're going to hear from Jordan Mechner, Erica Harell, and Desirey Proctor.

I'm moderating of this panel. About me. I am recovering journalist who now works in video games full time. I'm a senior writer of Brassline Entertainment where I'm working on a big project that I can't talk about. But it'll be cool when it comes out. I've worked as a consultant in video games.
