You also ask a question, it's been a few years since a publication of Fight and

people be loved. Both books which have been extremely helpful if you were

going to publish new editions of either one today

is there anything you've learned since they were published that you would change or update now?

Yes there is.

90 to 95% of what I wrote in fight in people to be loved I would easily sign off on like the

more I study the more I agree with what I said. However, in fight, I wouldn't have focused too heavily on advocating

for absolute nonviolence. I still believe in absolute nonviolence. I don't think violence is ever the

Christian way, but that gets us, I feel like so many people get so hung up on the person who was kicking in your door, dead set on raping your wife and

slaughtering your kids, torturing your kids, and you know prayer won't do anything.

God somehow exists, but he's not going to intervene.

You have a gun that's loaded, you're a really good shot, and it's either

kill or be killed. I mean these theoretical situations are kind of ridiculous, but

either way, I think people get hung up on those, those kind of violence as a last resort on an

individual level and I I if I were to write fight again again, I wouldn't have focused heavily on that question.
