A sentencing for President-elect Trump at his New York Hush Money case a week from today, the judge rejecting a push from the Trump team to toss the case on presidential immunity grounds and because of his return to the White House later this month.

Judge Juan Murchan has ruled that the sentencing in this criminal case, a conviction against

President-elect Trump will be next Friday, January 10th.

And in that same decision, he says that the president-elect will not receive jail time.

Instead, President-elect Trump will receive what's called an unconditional discharge.

This means that the conviction will stick, but that he will not receive any punishment.

This will also allow the president-elect to appeal this matter further.

Fox is Brian Yenna. In a statement, Trump spokesman, Stephen Chung called the ruling a

direct violation of the Supreme Court's immunity decision and other longstanding jurisprudence.

It was a close one, but Mike Johnson has been re-elected Speaker of the House after some hardline

Republicans at first refused to vote for him. This Congress will renounce the status quo,

and we will listen to the voices of the people. He ended up defeating Hakeem Jeffreys by three votes. Jeffreys will continue

his role as minority leader. Democrats will work hard to find bipartisan common ground with our

Republican colleagues in the incoming administration on any issue whenever and wherever possible.

And Jeffries added, it's time to come together to put party politics aside and get things

done for Americans. The FBI says the Green Beret, who died in an explosion of a Tesla

cyber truck at the Trump Hotel in Las Vegas, bore no animosity towards the president-elect

based on interviews with Matthew Littlesberger's family, and they say he likely suffered

from PTSD. America is listening to Fox News.
