and pass a stopgap measure. Trump posting a short time ago on truth social, quote,

the House and Senate have put together under the circumstances a very good funding bill.

all to give us a few months to go us through September so we can continue to put the country's

financial house in order. Democrats will do anything they can to shut down our government,

and we can't let that happen. We have to remain united, no dissent, fight for another day

The House GOP leaders are confident that they can pass the funding bill with Republican votes alone.

President Trump has sent a letter to the leader of Iran in an effort to negotiate a nuclear agreement.

This is a pivot for President Trump, who in 2018 withdrew from the

Iran nuclear deal. At the time, the president said it did not do enough to deal the threat of

Iran's missile program. Now, Trump is facing a critical point as Iran advances its nuclear program.

Iran's supreme leader Ayatollah Khomeini says Tehran won't be accepting President Trump's demands.

Kamenei rejected the prospect of holding talks with the Trump administration.

His comment came days after President Trump restored its campaign of maximum pressure in Iran to stop it from developing a nuclear weapon.

Iran's foreign minister maintains they won't negotiate as long as those severe sanctions

are in place. Fox is Madeline Rivera reporting. A report from the UN nuclear watchdog says Iran
