A lottery winner is set for life. I'm Roger Stern Fox News. Someone has the winning ticket for last night's $1.22 billion mega millions jackpot. That ticket sold at a convenience store in Cottonwood, California.

The lucky winner is actually set to take home the fifth largest prize in Mega Millions history after matching all six numbers and defeating the one in 300 million plus odds of winning the grand prize.

The jackpot ballooned as no one won the grand prize in the previous 30 drawings.

The last time the mega millions player hit the

jackpot was on September 10th. Last night's winner has two choices, received the $1.22 billion

by annual payments for 29 years, or take a one-time cash payout of about $549.7 million.

thousands of delays and over 160 cancellations. And a big portion of these travel disruptions are from severe storms.

Tornadoes ripped across parts of the south over the past few days.

There were extreme winds and hail, and that weather is expected to continue this weekend.

Highways will likely be backed up.

The storms have already proven to cause major issues on the roads and places

like Texas, where there have been several crashes leaving people stuck on the side of the roads

for hours waiting to get towed. AAA predicting 120 million people traveling for the holidays.

A high-speed passenger train collided with a fire truck today in Delray Beach, Florida,

at least three firefighters, and several train passengers were hurt. No one was killed.
