I thought you were making ones and twos.

You show quick ramp. I like it. A long awaited episode for us and we're mostly going to be talking about foot fetishes. I think it is the most common fetish that I've heard of and Gigi, I want to start with you because what is the difference between a fetish and a kink?

Sure. So fetishes and kinks, kink is kind of like the big umbrella term, which is basically, so kink is a big umbrella term that includes basically everything that falls outside of like your standard vanilla sex and vanilla is not meant to be a derogatory thing because vanilla is still a delicious flavor.

But it's like, I think it's basically non-conventional and what is considered kinky is pretty subjective based on the person, but like some people might think that like French kissing is kinky and if they think it's kinky, then it's kinky them. That's fine.

So kink is more like a non-conventional sex thing. Mostly people think of like BDSM, like the most common thing fetish on the other hand, a fetish is a sexual desire for something that isn't usually considered sexual most of the time, but is something that somebody requires during sex to meet full sexual gratification and sometimes to even feel desire at all.

Cool. Okay. Well, okay. I'm going to backtrack for two seconds then. Like, who defines what is conventional then? Like, who defines what the norm is?

Oh, normative patriarchy. Right. And like, sometimes with a little bit of Christian values thrown in. Yes, big time. Very much born out of Christian. Basically anything that isn't like PIV intercourse is big and like oral sex, essentially.
