2, now concerning the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ, and are being

partnered together to him, we ask you brothers not to be quickly shaken in mind or

alarmed either by a spirit or a spoken word or to be

a quickly shaken in mind or alarmed, either by a spirit or a spoken word

or a letter seeming to be from us

to the effect that the day of the Lord has come.

The day of the Lord is come. The day of the Lord is the day of the second coming

of the Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.

He goes on to say, let no one deceive you in any way

for that day will not come until the rebellion comes first.

And so what Paul is saying is,

Paul is saying is that history is coming to a

conclusion with the second coming of Jesus Christ. Jesus came the first time as

God become a man to live without sin, to die for our our sin to rise as our Savior all in Israel

and then ascend back into heaven and the Bible says that he will return to the

place that he departed from. So the next major event in human history,

second coming of Jesus Christ.

The time between the times is called the last days

or the end times.

It's also called here the day or the day of the Lord.

And so Paul is here prophesying.

He is looking into the future and God's children 2,000 years ago are wondering,
