Somebody, some people would say, uh, political, uh, things.

But, you know, for me, and I've mentioned this on the podcast before, politics is when

you're talking about policy, about things like infrastructure, but when you're talking

about basic human decency and somebody's

ability to walk freely and have equality, that to me is not politics.

Let's get into some surveys.

This is from the religious abuse slash trauma survey, and this is filled out by

the people's pleaser. I love that name. And she writes, I grew up Mennonite, not the type you

typically think of, plain dress, covering, no electricity, etc. But well-educated, accepting, and peace-building Mennonite. There's a very

small population of us, so it's not well-known that we exist, especially because we blend into

the rest of the world. I haven't gone to church since I was 15. This is really because my parents

divorced, and so I also lost my religion.

Because of this, I don't feel like I fit into the Mennonite category, even though I'm very steeped in the culture.
