This week, Paul reveals the greatest plot twist in the history of storytelling.

Here's this week's Wednesday's word. days work. Have you ever watched a television series or movie that contained an unexpected plot twist?

It often takes significant time to develop and will come out of nowhere. But when it's done well,

all your friends in social

media won't stop talking about it. The Bible, which contains the greatest story ever told,

also contains the best plot twist ever written. As we commit to reading this story in the new year,

we're looking for one or more of four themes in every passage, creation, slavery, redemption, restoration.

After the opening scene of creation comes the devastation of slavery,

but then comes the plot twist, which contains the glorious good news of redemption.

Unlike most plot twists, this turn takes no time to develop at all.

God in His mercy intervenes immediately. And because we're

so familiar with our Bible and know the end of the story, it doesn't take us by surprise any longer.

But let's not allow familiarity to cause us to breeze past the plot twist of Genesis 315. Don't

take this verse for granted. Allow the astonishment of this plot twist to cause gratitude,

celebration, and motivation in your everyday life. Quote, I will put enmity between you and the

woman, and between your offspring and her offspring. He shall bruise your head, and you shall bruise his
