My older Madisonian listeners might be familiar with this establishment.

It was open for almost two decades, but closed for good in 2011.

When I was in my early mid-20s and lived in Fitchburg, I would often go to the dry bean on Thursday nights with my co-workers to blow off some steam.

We probably drank more than we should have, but it was always a great time.

Thursday nights were legendary. This wasn't your run-in-the-mill

karaoke experience. There was an elevated stage and a large dance floor. If you're going to sing

karaoke, you had to have some enormous stones to step on that stage. And there were so many
