What's next?

Well, I confess to the elders, and the elders didn't really have a plan for me.

They didn't really know how to counsel me or none of them were counselors, officially type of counselors.

And I was a mess and I needed help.

And by the way, we need to do better in teaching the shepherds of the church how to shepherd people.

I mean, elders are shepherds. And church, how to shepherd people. I mean, elders are shepherds.

And there are so many elderships.

They just function as the corporate board of this religious institution.

They don't have a clue of how to shepherd people in the congregation.

And we should care about that.

So my pastor had taken me to a weekend conference called Changing Hearts, Changing Lives, where you were the speaker. And I was so impressed with your message and the way you delivered it.

And I figured if anyone could counsel me that I would listen to and respect, it would be you.
