Russia bombarded Ukraine again overnight.

I'm Dave Anthony, Fox News, targeting Ukraine's energy infrastructure and a missile and drone attack

after the U.S. cut off military aid and ended intelligence sharing.

But President Trump says,

We've made a lot of progress with Ukraine and a lot of progress with Russia over the last couple of days.

And it would be great to bring that to an end.

Next week, there will be a new round of talks in Saudi Arabia between officials from Ukraine

and the U.S. led by Secretary of State Marco Rubio.

Today at the White House President, Trump will host the first cryptocurrency summit.

The day after Fox's Madeline Rivera reports.

The president held a meeting with cabinet secretaries.

Elon Musk was in the room.

In that meeting, the president reportedly told cabinet members they are in charge of staff reductions, not Musk.

I want the cabinet members to keep good people.

I don't want to see a big cut where a lot of good people are cut.

I want them to do the best job they can.

When we have good people, that's precious.

That's very important.

And that remark comes as Musk faces Cruny over his role at Doge.

Democrats say Doge is unconstitutionally reaching into federal agencies.

And Musk led the way in the Trump administration making big cutbacks at the U.S. agency for international development, including freezing $2 billion in debts to USA-A-I-D partners.

They sued, and a court order upheld by the Supreme Court says the money must be paid.
