The UN debates a condemnation resolution.

This is Fox News, the UN Security Council holding an emergency meeting today, following

Iran's air strike against Israel yesterday. U.S. Deputy UN Ambassador Robert Wood

announcing the U.S. condemns Iran's actions in the strongest terms and

calls for de-escalation of the conflict.

The best way to prevent such escalation

is an unambiguous condemnation from the Council

of Iran's unprecedented large-scale attack

and an unequivocal call on it and its proxies and partners to

refrain from further violence.

Israel's war cabinet met for several hours Sunday debating its next steps.

Israel's war cabinet met here in Tel Aviv at the Kiryat, Israel's version of the Pentagon

for more than four hours trying to hammer out the details of what the Israeli response

to this brazen Iranian attack overnight might look like. Hundreds of

drones and missiles soaring through the skies toward Israel, the majority of

them intercepted outside of Israeli airspace, but still an attack that Israel has never seen in the country's history,

and one that sources say will likely draw some sort of Israeli response.

Now the Israeli media says, in that cabinet meeting, there were key disagreements about what the scope of a

retaliatory attack should be and the timing of that attack.
