This is a Fox News Alert over before it started. I'm Lisa Lissera. The Senate has moved to

end the impeachment trial against Homeland Security Secretary Alejandro Myorkis.

Senate Democrats stuck together to end the trial before it even began.

They did not vote to dismiss the articles of impeachment.

They voted along party lines to rule the articles out of sync with the Constitution.

The House alleged that Mayorkis broke the law and violated the public trust.

Republicans rage that Democrats terminated the trial before House prosecutors presented their arguments.

The 22nd impeachment trial in American history was not only abbreviated, but it becomes the first impeachment proceeding to end

without rendering final judgment against the accused. Even Democrats who

sometimes align with the GOP wanted a fast conclusion.

Boxes, Chad Purgerman, in a statement the White House that in part once and for all,

the Senate has rightly voted down this baseless impeachment that even conservative legal

scholars said was unconstitutional. President Biden Pittsburgh

this afternoon where he spoke at the US Steel's headquarters and he said Chinese

steel and aluminum producers are flooding the global market

he says his administration is looking into the matter.

If that investment confirms these anti-competitive trade practices then I'm calling

honor to consider tripling the tariff race for both steel and aluminum

for some China.

And the president pledged to block Japan's bid to buy U.S. Steel that he says must remain an American company.

The president says he strongly supports a proposal from Republican House Speaker Mike Johnson
