Like, you shouldn't take all the strings off at once. Well, today's show is dedicated to changing strings. When to do it, how to do it, and what myths and advice you should not listen to.

1:09.5	You're going to need, well, some guitar polish, your favorite
1:12.1	kind. I'm using Gibson pump polish today. It's actually one of my favorite guitar polishes

1:22.0	polishing cloth, preferably a microfiber cloth. You're going to need some guitar strings. Today I'll
1:26.5	be using Santa Cruz parabolic tension strings, the mid-tension ones. You're going to need some guitar strings. Today I'll be using Santa Cruz Parabolic Tension strings, the mid-tension ones. You're going to need a pencil. Yes, indeed, a pencil.
1:33.5	You can take notes with it, but we're also going to use it while we're changing strings. You're
1:37.0	going to need a string winder. You're going to need a tuner so you can get your strings up to pitch, and you're going to need a string cutter. This is a diagonal wire cutter, wild cutter,
1:47.2	a diagonal wire cutter.
1:51.4	You can also, a Didario makes a great pro winder
1:54.1	that has the string winder and the cutter within it.
