Shannon is my guest today, and she is the mother of a child with type 1 diabetes who went

through the Tommisoplop trial.

So Tommisoplop is teazield.

If you don't know what I am talking about, go back a week and there's a great episode

that explains teazield, but anyway, they went through the trial.

And what you'll hear is interesting.

If you're unaware, teazield is a drug that suppresses the specific T cells that are known

to attack the pancreatic beta cells.

I recorded this episode prior to the FDA approval of teazield, but it doesn't change the story.

This is just a first-hand experience from somebody whose child went through the clinical

study.

It's worth listening to.
