Hello listeners, welcome back to Luke's English podcast. This is a podcast

for learners of English around the world and my aim with these

episodes is to help you get more listening practice into your life and to ultimately help you build your English in the process.

So, this episode is going to be a sort of story episode,

but it's a little bit different to the usual stories I do. I'll be doing one of those kind of

of text adventure stories or what's also called interactive fiction, which means I'll be going through a story

which I found online and it's one of those interactive stories which means that you

get to make choices at various points in the story which probably affect the way the story progresses.

Now in the past I've done these text adventure stories and previously they've been mostly kind of like detective stories.

Also there was a kind of a horror story as well.

And also there was that story where we had to imagine that we were a lemon trying to escape from a kitchen

without being chopped up and turned into a juice or something like that.

Now this one I'm going to do today is a little bit different because in this one we have

to basically put ourselves in the shoes of a normal person trying to go through a normal

day in their life, just an ordinary day, someone attempting to pass through the day and do the sorts of things that we often will

do in our day, you know, like booking to make a reservation, arranging meetings, you know,
